Would have stayed longer but couldn't. The snow peak is awesome and magical. The snow capped Himalayan range is something worth watching. There is a place where you can pay 10/- rupees and watch with a powerful binocular for a minute. I felt so relaxed seeing it. It's astonishing to see nature moulding itself thousands of years. Slowly evolving. While looking I also felt what as humans have we done to the environment by being so greedy. There are shops for clothes, kids toys and food stalls with juice stalls. People are very helpful. There are game stalls and small rides and go karting for kids. There are two ways to reach the peek. One by a ropeway which is for 200 for 4 people. The other route is via car.
Very beautiful place , dense forest, clean forest air which refreshes lungs, amazing views of snow peaks and Nainital. Must visit.
Gives a complete view of entire lake and city. It looks amazing and beautiful! Good spot to spend a few minutes. It's a main road so cannot spend a lot of time.

Naina peak is also known as China peak ( before landslide of 1880 you could see the wall of china from that peak) is really a beautiful place.the shape of Nainital from the peak looks likes mango.
To have a bird's eye view of Nainital, this place would be the most recommended one! Perched at an altitude of around 2000 m, this place was once even higher, before a landslide occurred which further shifted its elevation. An old shop can be found here (The only one in the admist dense forest!) which is actually a radio transmitting center! Have a patter with the owner and he will share interesting stories! :D
