  • Situated in a private plot which is operated and run with purely commercial interest and motive. No connection with art or anything else...only a pure commercial shop. Would not suggest to anyone to give even a single visit. They give commission to auto drivers as well....you will notice that every auto driver will recommend this place to all the tourists. Even they will force you and will say that they will charge very little amount of fare.
  • Situated on the way to chamundi hill. Good place to visit with family and kids. Sculpture created by sand are beautiful. There are few shops for shopping also. For kids treasure hunt game is also there. These arts are created by famous artists. Entry fee for adults is 40 rs per person and for children it is 20 rs per person. If you have lack of time even then you can visit there, this place will not take more than one hour.
  • I usually don't give a 5 star but this place truly deserves it. What an art. I was mesmerized to see how difficult it would have been to make each piece with such precision and neatness. And most importantly it is permanently there, but made of sand. I have seen many sand sculptures in Puri sea beach as well But first time to see in South that to in proper museum form. What I also liked was , there were other attractions as well inside the premises to draw attention. one was the photo booth where in you can stand and take pictures. It will be a 3d form and it will seem as if you are actually on the original location.
  • Amazing work of art using sand, water and glue. First of its kind in India! Must see! Located just at the left side of the road in the beginning of the drive uphill to Chamundi Hills. Wonderful expressions and lively sculptures and cover a wide range of topics like mythology, astronomy, love, cartoons, culture and heritage. One visit to the sand sculpture museum is a must for every visitor to Mysore.
  • Nice sand arts by famous artists. Place is good and lovely experience. They have also added some games and 3d photographs to make place more lively.
