  • The Wax Museum at Mysore is aptly named as Melody World. The museum fascinates visitors through its display of various musical instruments in interesting settings, replete with life size wax statues of musicians playing the musical instruments. Since the museum is based on music and musical instruments it reflects the diverse kinds of musical instruments that have been in use across various parts of the country and the world since ancient times. This is a one-of-its kind wax museum in the whole world and was created as a tribute to musicians from all over the world, with some fantastic original collections of rare musical instruments around the world
  • Work of an Artist is excellent. Entry fee is 40rs for Adults and children. The house is of 90 years old. They have scary house for kids whoever wants to enjoy the scary moments. Totally, I felt there are no benches to sitoutside for people who are waiting outside. He can improve a lot. They also charged 40rs rupees for the scary house just for the info. This is a kilometer away from Sand museum.
  • Excellent work of art. The site is yet to recognised by Karnataka tourism. If in mysore this museum is worth watch.
  • Music, People, Culture, History, Heritage across Continents and Artistry, is what is largely on display here ... all made of Wax. Good to visit for children and those haven't seen wax museum earlier. Other wise you can keep this as last item to your itinerary. :)
  • The staff needs to be trained better. Such a waste of good collection
