  • Beautiful piece of our heritage. The building was constructed in 1827 and most of the building is intact but some part has collapsed. All the doors entrances are sealed by Govt with Iron Grills still the inside is all littered with rubbles and trash. Very beautiful view of valley from back of House, Awesome sunset view from this place
  • Its a wonderful place.. I've went there on my bike with no difficulty.. Even a scooter can go there.. Good place for camping. People do not make the place dirty by throwing away wrappers and bottles
  • Perfect home. George Everest was one lucky guy to have lived here. The sky and hills meet the valley here at the backyard of Everest House and then there is that amazing trek.
  • That was a wonderful place to visit..when you see from the top of the hill you said wowww
  • The reason i gave it a 5 is bcoz of the location and the historical significance. But the place in itself is not well maintained. The road to the george everest is in a pathetic condition and the place is not kept clean. The people who visit there are to blame for spreading filth like polybags of chips frooty etc around. The municipality also sd pay more attention to imposing a fine and putting sign boards etc for not littering
