The hillside retreat town of Munnar has a welcome range of accommodations, with some making the most of the pleasant rolling hills that surround, and other simpler options allowing more budget-conscious visitors the opportunity to enjoy the landscape here. The modest town center features a number of basic guesthouses, as well as eco-lodges and hotels ranging from standard to luxury. The surrounding areas hide a number of pleasant rental cottages and guesthouses, as well as campsites close to the main hill stations.

  • We went from Cochin to Munnar and it was a wonderful trip to end up in the hills if Munnar and the green sea if tea. Certainly recommended trip if you can.  more »
