  • Essentially 'Dolmens'. Wish the upkeep was better and there were boards like in the Archaeological sites worldwide, to help educate the young tourists visiting the place. All in all a good place to hang out. One of the Dolmens was actually in a good shape, but alas, the same would be in a pitiable state soon, given the free and unprotected access , if i may say! Sunset and sunrise point!
  • Truly historic place which is very significant in ancient human history in the megalithic era , and the Hindu history about Mahabharata. Above all, an amazing terrain and great surroundings. Be there and feel it.
  • This place is called Anakkottappara park. Here you can explore ancient burial point called Dolmens. It is 3000 To 9000 Years old. This is one of the must watch place in marayoor. View from this rocky hill is excellent.
  • Muniyara Cave - The dwelling caves of ancient tribal located at 1 km away from Marayoor on the way to Kanthalloor. These caves have been made of huge rocky planks or slabs. These were holy caves where the ancient sages used to meditate. The sight of the cave really a wonder. Visitors can also find a temple on the bank of Pambar which has been created in a single rock
