Water Body
Head out onto Kundala Dam Lake in a rental boat and enjoy the fresh air and natural scenery. The lake has a lower water level from March to May, but during the rest of the year makes a prime location for boating. Rent a boat or boats for your party and head onto the calm waters or, if you prefer to stay on land, hike around the lake to enjoy the forest up close. Locals know the paths, including lesser-known gems, making it worthwhile to hire a local guide. • When we visited, it seems closed. Also it is better to visit Mattupetty dam. Kundala dam is in between Mattupetty dam and Top station.  more »
  • Like my comment for Mattupetty Dam, if you have booked yourself three nights at Munnar, this is one of the places that your guide will take you. Good for some photographs - that is all.  more »
