  • Went up with family in Kerala forests bus from base.Great scenes remind us of Green Meadows thatch bugyaals of Himalayas.
  • Anamudi Peak is one of the main attraction in munnar. It is the highest peak in the Western Ghats and South India. The name Anamudi literally translates to "elephant's forehead," a reference to the resemblance of the mountain to an elephant's head. It is situated in Eravikulam National park, from inside you can see and climb the peak. Book the entrance ticket well in advance because in season time the Q is very very long.
  • The from peak is fabulous and great for taking pictures and the wlife sanctuary there are is only a goat and long waiting line to visit
  • Highest point in south India. Wonderful place. But make sure you visit during summer for trekking. During Monsoon the views are soothing, but can't do any climbing.
  • One of the best places in India. Couldn't visit peak due to rainy season. But overall amazing experience.
