Juhu Beach, Mumbai

3.2
At Juhu Beach, visit the luxurious seaside that many celebrities and business elites call home. Located 18 km (11 mi) north of the city center, the shoreline stretches 6 km (3.7 mi) and attracts thousands of tourists throughout the year. See acrobats perform their stunts on the sand, hire a horse-drawn carriage, and taste authentic "Mumbai-style street food. The beach became popular for plane-spotting, too, since a portion of it lies underneath the departure path of some of the airport's runways. Annual Ganesh celebrations bring swarms of devotees with their idols to the sea. Arrange to visit Juhu Beach and other attractions in Mumbai using our Mumbai online visit planner .

  • We had a walk here because beach was adjacent to the rear of the hotel. Didn't participate in the few limited water activities because I've been spoilt rottenly whilst living in Tenerife.  more »
  • I love to raom around the beach. It was really a nice experience...junk food was served by sellers in the beach. Water flowing at a very fast speed near the beach. It was really a wonderful experience...  more »

  • It absolutely good place. Nature freeks can enjoy the sound of sea with cup of tea. Beach is very clean and now shops are very limited on the beach. Sun set is amazing like Arabian sea and there is huge canteen and variety of food you can enjoy the food and evening weather. The eye soothing view of orange cloud sun meeting sea. Enormous beach and great view of the sea and pretty much very calm waves l.
  • A good place to chill out at the beach with your family and friends. Go early in the morning for enjoying fresh air and coconut water and in the evening to witness sunset and cheap and delicious street food and Golas! It is very crowded in weekends so go accordingly.
  • Juhu can be defined as one of the largest and most sought after beaches in India. It is a hot-spot for elite celebrity homes and film personality sightings located in the suburbs of the city making it one of the most eminent tourist places to visit in Mumbai. Visitors all over the country love the beach for it is also a gastronomic paradise hosting stalls that serve up platters of lip-smacking street food. The sandy delight is most crowded during weekends where people can get entertained by horse and donkey rides, dancing monkeys, toy sellers and other kinds of amusement. Sightseers visit this shoreline in view of its serene climate and its grand excellence
  • Juhu beach is very beautiful and serene. It is crowded though. You must wade through a lot of plastics and human feces though. This is pretty sad considering how up-market the adjoining city really is. The sea is beautiful. You may sit down and enjoy the sunset here. Sit and enjoy the breeze. Watch the flights fly by.
  • What is it about the beach that reaches in and feather touches the wilder parts of our soul Yes it the sounds, the smells, the colours the orange cloud at the time of SUN SET and combination of all these.. There’s a soothing necromancy to the sounds of the sea that can’t be found anywhere else. The eye soothing view of orange cloud sun meeting sea. 😍😍
