  • This is a crematorium built by Parsis only for their community. Parsis have an unique way of cremation. People from other communities are prohibited from entering this place. 
  • It is NOT a tourist attraction and should NOT be promoted/advertised as such. On the way down to Kemps Corner on Ridge Road (B. G. Kher Marg) after Hanging Gardens comes the Parsi community's final resting place, the Tower of Silence. This is strictly a private space; but for those who are not familiar with the Parsi customs and traditions, this holds a curious tourist interest.
  • This is the place used by Parsis/ Zoroastrians for purification/cremation/burial (whatever may be their word) for the dead. So other people are not allowed to enter and visit it, thereby maintaining is holiness and sacredness. Wikipedia has an article about this place. Read it.
  • The Parsi place for the dead, where vultures eat the dead bodies. Respect for them!
