Malabar Hill, Mumbai (Bombay)
(3.9/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
An elite and exclusive neighborhood of Mumbai, Malabar Hill feels like different city. This untouristed enclave of the high and mighty of the city's financial and social world makes for a dazzling stroll and popular weekend picnic spot. Watch the locals with their children relaxing on the public beach, stop in the magnificent Jain temple, and meander the many gardens and little cafes on the main road. The area requires quite a bit of walking, so bring water. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Mumbai (Bombay) holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Malabar Hill and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Not a lot to add;has some swanky buildings but it's very cluttered.Cricket fans know it as the birthplace of England cricket captain Douglas Jardine.
  • I would not spend too much time here but nice place to capture some photos for record as long as the day in not too hazy.
  • Looking over Chipati beach this was stunning, across the road from the hanging gardens the views were breath taking,I could see right along Marine drive with all the hotels and houses on view.
