For tourists who may have named Crawford market to familiar. I think I can find now is located in the car a little north of chhatrapati Shivaji terminus and has a unique appearance, so ★ Charter trips at this time to visit the beginning is interested in and had become gradually intolerable heat, was back in the car on the way. I think that those of you who feel the charm of old fashioned market atmosphere, enjoy!

Big time super market from the British time... Old name was Crawford Market... present status completely down market... Unhygienic, narrow passages, rotten smell, non branded products. Indians know how to turn a beautiful structure into an unwelcoming place... 5 stars for the building and name of the market... Mahatma Phule, the great social reformer...

Go to place for everything you can never need - clothes, cosmetics, stationery, lingerie, lights, jewellery, food items. Also if you're planning on starting a new business, this is the place to buy your materials from. It being a wholesale market you can be rest assured to get the best price and also great quality. All you need is time and patience to stroll through the many markets and small by lanes selling it all. Something like the real world Amazon - products from A to Z.

Awesome place to shop at. Dry fruits, regular fruits, attar, cosmetics, stationary stuff, and what not at a cheaper than the market price. Also the experience is quite amazing and that's why I keep coming back. This is actual shopping experience not what you see in the malls.

Where to stay in Mumbai (Bombay)

In a cramped city like Mumbai, finding a budget hotel can present a serious challenge. Many business travelers and tourists choose to stay in South Mumbai, the oldest and richest neighborhood in the city. Accommodations here put you close to most top museums, restaurants, bars, art galleries, and shops. Proximity to major attractions comes at a premium price, though--not surprising for one of the most expensive cities in Asia. If you plan to visit on a tight budget, look for options near railway stations, but prepare for low-grade rooms and few or no amenities.
