Categories: Art Galleries, Museums
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web
Witness the work of artists from all around India at Jehangir Art Gallery, one of the nation's most prestigious art galleries. The country's artists all aspire to one day have their work displayed here. Built in 1952, it represents one of the first concrete structures in the city. Inside, find four exhibition halls, which combined total about 785 sq m (8,458 sq ft) of floor space and 80 m (853 ft) of running wall space. Stop by the onsite cafe, something of an institution in itself, linked to the socialist culture of the 1970s.
