Categories: Flea Markets, Shopping
Inspirock Rating:
3.5/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web
Explore the vibrant and colorful stalls at Crawford Market, one of the most famous markets in the area. Among the plethora of goods, you'll find textiles and ready-to-sew clothing, all types of fresh fruit and vegetables, and a specialist pet market at the back selling various critters (buyer beware: some of them illegally peddle endangered species). Outside, take some time to appreciate the market's blend of Norman and Flemish architecture, and look for stone fountains and friezes depicting Indian farmers. Inside, browse in a friendly, hassle-free environment, and pick out something special to take away with you. • Earlier there was monopoly of market but now a days I didn't think that u have to come here for shopping coz more varieties & reasonable rates u will get in suburb like dadar malad etc
  • Good place to buy most things at a wholesale (discounted) rate. There's hardly anything you won't find here, Crawford market has dedicated lanes for different things, to name a few- stationary, lights, home essentials, clothes, jewelry, fruits, pets, perfumes, chocolates, glassware, home decor, party decorations, mobile phone accessories, Cosmetics etc . One star less for the crowd, handcarts & parking space unavailability.
  • This review is mostly for people coming from other cities... As all the Mumbaikars know this place is famous for foreign products (usually eatables, chocolates, soft drinks etc) at the best price Plz do not expect customer service or effortless shopping experience.. Over crowded all round the year U R hear for 2 reasons price and availability
  • Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandai, Marathi (Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mondi) is one of South Mumbai's most famous markets. It was earlier named after Arthur Crawford, the first Municipal Commissioner of the city.
  • Market for Wholesale & retails for fruits, vegetables, sea foods. imported stuffs too available. Best quality fruits are available. Very crowded place and lot of trouble for parking.
