  • The Bombay High Court building is one of the finest examples of Colonial architecture in India, reminiscent of the British rule here. Sadly you can not enter with a camera here for security reasons. Even photography from outside is not allowed. You can see this while driving past the building which is majestic and well maintained. You will amazed to see there is no A.C. still the air is very cool. the light is perfect. Also see the art on the pillarts, the amazing gates, the crafted lions, and other animals.. and the Gothic tombs.. quite unique kind of architecture.. mixture of Indian, Islamic and European structural styles.
  • Please do something on the "next date" option as some people are fortunate to get immediate next date as well as priority case no on daily board and some are deprived of the justice for years together.. it needs to be streamlined - without any human interference to allocate the sequence of daily cause list. Due to the supplementary board allocation the main board cases are postponed. One more serious issue of Non-filing of reply by agencies like CBI within a specified time though there is a specific order by the Hon'ble Court causing the unnecessary adjournments and delay by which common man is ultimately get victimized. Now since the day to day orders are on-line and open to common people they know the exact status of the case. Thanks for the efforts towards transparency but still a lot of work is required to achieve justice to low profile and common people.
  • It is a lovely historical building. The court is a bit disorganized.
  • The Mumbai High Court unfortunately is part of a decadent, archaic legal system that is one of the most shameful aspects of India. The Indian PM Modi and the Indian Parliament have contributed to the amazing backlog of millions of cases by not processing the appointment of judges. Visit the HC building to gawk at the amazing architecture and to gawk at an anachronistic system where nothing has evolved over the 150 years since the building was first erected !
  • Also known as Constitutional Casino. 14 judges of Bombay High Court grabbed a plot of land reserved for Dishoused by approaching the Maharashtra Chief Minister. They constituted Nyay Sagar Society upon it at Bandra with plush flats and rented the same to high-class prostitutes.
