  • It's a experience..which every Mumbaikar should have...beautiful and well maintained. Was beyond my expectations... Wishing the people behind the museum all d best and keep up the good work :)
  • Abundance of History accumulated under one roof right in the middle of the city. Nice to historical objects presented to display the different cultures that came together to form Bombay. Must visit if you are around the Byculla area.
  • The Museum is located right at the entrance of Jijamata Udyan (Rani Baug) Zoo, Byculla. It's a very nice museum to visit, if you want to know about the history of Mumbai and Maharashtra. Lot of Artifacts, Painting, Maps and Photographs are on display. A must place to visit if you are in Mumbai.
  • One of Mumbai's hidden gems. This small museum inside the zoo houses a good collection of items related to local arts, crafts and industry. There is also a section dedicated to the various communities of the city and maps showing the historical growth of the city. The gorgeously restored museum building is as much an attraction as the collection. The garden houses a collection of old British statues and a nice gift shop. A good place to visit if you have the time.
  • Must visit for locals. Mumbai's history depicted in detail. The culture and customs of India is nicely displayed. Photography allowed too.
