  • The museum is located in Byculla (Mumbai). The museum is very well maintained and depicts the cultural heritage of the city. Its a small museum compared to the "Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya". When we visited the museum we were shown a very nice documentary. Visit to the museum is highly recommended. I am giving it 5 out of 5 stars.
  • The place is awesome and must visit with your kids. The collection is very wide from old coins to the scale models depicting Mumbai island formation, mythological stories, silver- bronze- ivory articles, Only improvement required is staff available should make their presence as polite and able informers of things on display rather than only guards which few of them are doing, appreciate. You will need at least 2 to 3 hours to watch the collection. Car parking is available. It is at a walking distance of 7 minutes from Byculla rly station. Wednesday closed.
  • It's good museum in the Mumbai city. It's closer to Byculla railway station. You can do photography. This museum is good for children as they have facility to get information in local languages as well as in english. All the things are preserved in good manner. Students have special discounts for the ticket.
  • One of the best well maintained museum. Good for kids and foreign nationals to know about india and its cultural diversity
  • The museum has a display of cultural and artistic artefacts of all periods of Indian history. Artefacts include pottery, ivory, silver, brass, copper, minakari, paintings, mother of pearl, and much more, with a brief description given. There is a nice cafe and a shop selling souvenirs at the backyard. The museum is well maintained.
