  • A silent place in city. TAKE BATH IN THIS HOLY POND BANGANGA CREATED BY LORD RAMA. A visit to Mumbai is not complete without visiting banganga. Heritage site in the concrete jungle. Must Visit. Holy Place.
  • everytime I come here.. I remember the movie "outsourced" .. peaceful atmosphere.. historical place
  • Banganga Tank is one of the oldest sweet water tanks located in Mumbai. Before Mumbai got water supply from the Vihar and Tulsi lakes, the only source of water were several tanks built within the city. There were eleven tanks in all, of which Banganga is the only tank that has been present since ancient times.
  • A very old and a very beautiful pond filled with fishes. The place is surrounded by stairs of many old temples. This may be the reason nobody is allowed for fishing there. Banganga doesn't even look like a part of Mumbai. It gives a feel of a remote village you would have seen 30 years before.
  • Very peaceful locality and holy place in south mumbai. must visit for anyone who wants to clear their mind and meditate.
