Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Mumbai (Bombay)

4.6
A cable-stayed bridge, Bandra-Worli Sea Link connects the city's west suburban zones with the downtown core over the waters of Mahim Bay. With four lanes of traffic each way, the bridge serves drivers looking to cut down on travel time by avoiding the less-direct freeway routes. Enjoy the view over the sea as you zip across the causeway, as well as the impressive 128 m (420 ft) tall pylon towers and their cables that help to support the structure. Keep in mind that stopping on the bridge for photography is not allowed. • Awesome experience while traveling on the bridge also called as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link. It is a real engineering marvel. Amazing view in the night. The Bandra end of the toll plaza which has 16 approach lanes. The toll plaza is equipped with an electronic toll collection system which collects taxes from passersby.
  • Very beautiful bridge... it would be BEST if they give permission for 2 wheeler also (bikes)
  • Well maintained link. Neat and clean. Most awaited bridge to connected worli and bandra. Recommended for drive
  • Lots of years of Hard work now becomes tourist attraction . The pillars holding the structure are so huge and strong that it could have been made big enough to have separate lane of two wheeler& joggers and few spots to halt and take the pleasure of sea view & sea fresh Air ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! OR A double decker expansion! one of tourists & leisure & pleasure ....;)
  • Beautiful drive with the lights and view and a beautiful well maintained route. Perfect for a nice drive on a rainy day or even otherwise!

Where to stay in Mumbai (Bombay)

In a cramped city like Mumbai, finding a budget hotel can present a serious challenge. Many business travelers and tourists choose to stay in South Mumbai, the oldest and richest neighborhood in the city. Accommodations here put you close to most top museums, restaurants, bars, art galleries, and shops. Proximity to major attractions comes at a premium price, though--not surprising for one of the most expensive cities in Asia. If you plan to visit on a tight budget, look for options near railway stations, but prepare for low-grade rooms and few or no amenities.
