  • Beautiful church with memories from the Afghanian war in 1842, casualties are mentioned and remembered. The church garden is a mess, but inside it is a different world 
  • Definitely worth a visit. Church estate real, very nice especially the Interior. The ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of Mumbai!!

  • Churches in South Mumbai have always amazed me. They are imposing, magnificent and display the best of architecture of the time. Afghan Church, so called to commemorate the solders who fell in the 1842 Afghan war, is certainly one of the landmarks.
  • The only peaceful place in south Mumbai Well connected to any part of Mumbai due proximity to bus stop, taxi stand.
  • Its a holy place .. for Christians .. this church is of St. John the Evangelist !! vist here .. it is a good place..!!
