3.2/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
See the historical site claimed back by the nature and experience history first hand at Achalgarh Fort. Admire the view of the two gray towers of the fort which date back to the 9th century CE when it was built by the Paramara dynasty rulers. Now in ruins, the the structure includes a religious site where Shiva's toe is worshipped where you can see the brass statue of Nandi and the buffaloes of stone peacefully standing next to the pond. Brining lots of water is recommended as the temperatures can get high. Using our online itinerary creator, Mount Abu attractions like Achalgarh Fort can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • The place is good. Place is situated at mount abu. Visit this place only if you have spare time and nothing to do. Because place is just average. 1-2 hour can be spent easily here.
  • If you want to go a place that connects to the roots of India and the roots of Rajastahn and its culture, This is it !
  • best in temple and curve with makki ka bhutta is best with cold area all many time visit in mahadev temple
  • Jain temples in the fort are very old . Best place for devotees to do rituals at the peaceful environment of the temple. Views from temple are mindblowing.must visit.
  • The Fort is in a very dilapidated condition. Usually visitors turn back midway from Jain temple, if at all they think of going up. Small vehicles and two wheelers go till midway, but space is there for parking just four odd vehicles at mid way. Chamunda temple is on top. Views from top are not so great. You may skip the location if you do not like walking and not fond of historic forts.
  • Temple visit with an awesome view. One can only wonder how people built temples at such locations. Achalgarh jain temple is located on a mountain peak with great carvings on white marble stone. Wow. It takes a jeep ride up to a place from where you have to walk another 100 steps to get to the temple. According to jain philosophy a jain shravaks life or jaatra (holy temple visits) cannot end without a visit to this temple. Awesomeness redefined.
  • Nice place, calm and great view from jain temple
  • View from this place is very good..!! can be considered as tourist place ..!!!
