  • Colourful local market, I advise you to visit at least once for interest. As we said local-there are old and new market. the new we found, and here is the old never got. Many write about buying tea at Babu in a new market. So near is the same tea shop-MOOSA, but cheaper. All basically go to Baba, as he himself goes on the market, rounded up the tourists and keeps to himself. If Babu green coffee 700-800 rupees. then Musa I gave for 500 rupees for 1 kg Found nice shop with consumer cosmetics-shampoo, hair and skin oils, toothpaste, soaps (all done, all really enjoyed). There are clothes and shoes, but all very primitive, although quite cheap! Be sure to bargain-price overstate for tourists! Don't like the price, go, will run, will give your price and, of course, first go around the entire market, prices are very different.

  • Specially went to Margao for tea, it was on the market in Babu tea. We spent there, the maze. Take coffee and tea, black and green. Don't cheat on the scales, scales you see at the weigh-in, plus a gram 50 reported above. The tea is excellent, tasty and aromatic. Coffee is wonderful. The gift gave a small package of Goan tea, very nice and sweet. Prices as described. For me a big indicator that buying local.
