  • The Italian painter has painstakingly lied down 60 feet above ground, and painted the masterpieces. The Christian art inside the St. Aloysius Chapel is like Michelangelo's paintings in India. Do not miss the paintings. It is all over the huge Chapel.
  • Wonderful place which must not be missed by a tourist. One of the oldest chapel consisting century old devine wall paintings, which makes this chapel unique.
  • Best Place and worth visiting place. One of its kind those who are artistic will like it very much. The St. Aloysius Chapel in Mangalore was built by Jesuit Missionaries in 1880 and its interiors painted by the Italian Jesuit Antonio Moscheni in 1899, during the Mangalore Mission in 1878. What makes this chapel unique compared to the other chapels in the country is the beautiful paintings that cover virtually every inch of the walls. Bro. Moscheni from Italy is the creator of this master piece. One portion of the chapel paintings depicts the life of Aloysius Gonzaga to whom Aloysius College and chapel are dedicated. Saint Aloysius gave his life in the service of others.
  • It is simply amazing.... Can only be compared with the Sistine Chapel!
  • Wonderful piece of art.
