Its famed interior features richly colored fresco and canvas paintings of the lives of Aloysius Gonzaga, as well as the lives of Jesus Christ and his apostles. Step inside to see Italian painter Antonio Moscheni's works depicting Aloysius as a child, his first holy communion, and him seeking commission to the Jesuit Order; those of Jesus depict his birth, his baptism by St. John, and his crucifixion.     A nice visit. The place has a great historical significance, built around 1890's, painted by a single person.... Most importantly the paintings have been preserved really well since that time...!!! The guide there will explain in full details about the significance of this place.

    Its a great place to visit. It is open from 6 a.m till 5.30pm for the visitors. There is a facility of chapel guide who will give all the information about the chapel free of cost. From outside it looks ordinary but inside the chapel it is awesome. A great pice of art, well maintained. Don't miss it

    If you are new to Mangalore and trying to find a POI, this is one among them. Beautiful church attached to famous St Aloysius College. Make sure to note the paintings and artwork on the walls and the roof inside the church. One of the landmarks of Mangalore.
