  • Great initiative Sammilan Sir. Truly a great place to find the winged beauties. As a photography lover I really loved this place a lot. A great experience and a memorable one. Its worth the visit.
  • An amazing place to visit. Its like heaven on earth. I guess I have never seen so many Butterflies in my entire life. So its worth visiting this place. Have great time visiting.
  • I have visited the butterfly park in Bangalore and was really happy to see so many butterflies…there was a board which also mentioned the count of butterflies that were there in the dome. An attendant actually came and released a few butterflies and one of them sat on cheek. Just imagine the excitement,I was so overwhelmed with the experience until, I saw Sammilan’s Butterfly Park. I fall short of words to describe the excitement that I went through, I felt like a small child who gets super excited on seeing anything new. This excitement just continued till we left the place. The place has a natural habitat for butterflies unlike the ones that I saw in dome which were BREEDED. A lot of people may find it disappointing as they expect the place to be a park…well it is called park however it is a natural park. Sammilan has taken a lot of efforts to actually create the place conducive enough to attract various species of butterflies. Prior to Sammilan’s lecture on butterflies I knew only 3 to 4 butterflies,by the way when I say I knew,I mean not the names but types, and I called all of them butterflies. In the park I spotted close to 40 odd species and they had names too (imagine the ignorance) . Sammilan takes a lot of effort to explain you the details of the lifecycle of butterfly- and that is done in the most humble way. His mom is a darling, we did strike a chord – she spoke in Kannada and me in Hindi…yet we were able to communicate. She was generous enough to share her sambar recipe also with me. by the way I visited the park last year, writing a review as my friend recently visited the place again and I was able to relive those memories... What an enriching experience…in a very humble setting, a man with a passion to conserve the species in the most natural way. So proud to be associated with you Sammilan
  • Overwhelming experience... Never expected to find so many colorful butterflies in one place. The real wild environment created by the owner is really awesome and we liked the goal of him. Visited with kids and they liked it too!! :-)
  • Beautiful park with so many varieties of butterfly, they also give good knowledge about butterfly and show beautiful rare videos, worth a visit with kids
