  • Rani Roopmati Pavilion is the southern most monument of the many monuments in the Mandu fort of Mandav. This was built to enable Rani Roopmati to see the River Narmada and perform certain religious rituals, without steeping out of the fort of Mandu. From here the majestic view of the Neemar valley can be seen, rising up into the Malwa Plateau. On a very clear day,if lucky, you might even see the Narmada river. Final climb to this place is steep. Inside the pavilion the stairs are spiral and higher than the normal. To make the matters worse the stairway is dark. Recommended that you carry a torch and mind your steps. Bon chance
