  • Quite, serene, calm place in the middle of the nature. Approach road is also through the forest. Very near to Bangalore and a nice weekend trip much recommended. Please carry your own provision as no shops available nearby. Nice place for short trekking till the dam from the main road.
  • Great place to visit during the weekend. Beautiful, serene and peaceful with regard to the place. Carry water/snacks if you are with kids. No shops around for small needs. There are small hills for hikes. The dam has two entry; and currently the entry to the dam is barred. Most of the people were walking through the fields to see the dam.
  • Quite , no crowd, remote place to have a peaceful weekend. U can spend an entire day exploring the whole area back and front of the dam . Small hills around can also be hiked. Road to reach this place is very good. Yes, please make sure to take water bottles and also some food if u are willing to stay there for more time.
  • Scenic place on the way to savandurga hill. Best time to visit is during monsoon. Early morning will offer a very good view.
  • Really a pleasant place. It has got two entrance with one being closed and the way to backwaters will cost u 100rs to be paid to the guard. What I noticed is they don't charge for the localits !! You will definitely not allowed to go near the damn unless u pay again 150 or more to the guards!!
