  • This is a museum dedicated to Teaks but they also maintain a beautiful bio-park surrounding the museum. I was amazed by the open butterfly park, it was interesting to know that a particular breed of butterflies are associated with certain type flower or tree, there was a lot of information to grasp. One can spend at least couple of hours here. Highly recommended. This place is very close to railway station, there is also a central forest nursery very near to this facility.
  • Teak Museum provides you a good knowledge in Teak trees. Complete inside story of teak from planting to harvesting. It's a clean and nice location by the side of the main road near to Nilambur town. Roads reaching Nilambur is very good. When you visit the Teak museum don't forget to visit the beautiful landscapes of its garden. Colourful flowers and attractive landscapes will take your breath away. Nicely maintained and enjoyable for a family visit. Kids play area. Ample parking. Capt. Rohana
  • One of the best outing option in Nilambur. Had a wonderful experience in this museum. We went with family for visiting the museum. The museum needs to be much more maintained by the government. Some portions of museum are totally stalled. The butterfly garden also need to take care off.The history of teak and it's variants are really fascinating one. The museum mainly focused on the research and education based on teak woods. There are lots of teak and it's stem for displayed. There is a library with lots of articles and deep information about every growing stage of teak woods. also they are providing entertainment purposes like children park and walking area. Beautiful place to visit in Nilambur. This museum shares a lot of information about the teak. The museum has a wide variety of teak from small to big old trunk of a teak. Museum also has a nature park behind it, which is worth watching. A lot of nice locations in this place. Both the museum and the park is clean and well maintained and it is an amazing place to spent with the family. Overall very good experience.
