  • Its a historic fort. 1). Tickets for ferry is available at a the jetty it's between 22 rupees to 50 rupees per person ( depending on the number of people the rates will decrease) 2). There are no toilets near the jetty or in the fort. So Ladies please take a note of it. 3). It takes 15 mins to reach the fort. 4). You have to change the boat in the water ( yes you have to jump from one boat to another while in WATER). 100% safe. Maybe:) 5). Getting in the fort is a great experience just listen to the Boat instructor 6). It takes 45 Mins for the tour and the guide takes 1500 bucks for a group so each member has to contribute 50 bucks each. 7).the fort is closed between 12.00 to 2.00 for Namaz. All of boat owners are local Muslims.
  • Nice place with strong history... But sadly nrglected by government and civic bodies n abued by visitors....! Pls preserve our heritage..... Fellow tourist
  • Good place....but it feels very dangerous while jumping from the boat directly in the fort's step. But you can do it. Inside part of the fort is very good. Really very old having interesting history behind it. Go and enjoy.
  • This is historic place in water. It is also known as Janjira Jal-durg. It is located in a small town named Murud. It was built by Malik Ambar. Did You Know It was built during 17th century. There were 500 canons in the fort but only a few of them still exist.
  • Beautiful fort. If you are there near then just visit it once. I don't know why I don't click any photos that time.
