  • I have never seen such an extraordinary balance. The rock is on a slope such that one can slip and fall easily but still the huge rock is maintaining it's balance and staying in it's place
  • We arrived to look at the temples and were amazed by the butter ball. It looks like it is going to roll down but wont. One of the locals told us that they tied 6 elephants to the rock to try remove it but still could not.
  • Huge rock balancing itself on another slanting rock.. very popular with tourists and always crowded with someone taking a snap with it.. no entrance fees and plenty of parking near by.. good place..
  • You can come to this place if you have been here to Mahabalipuram as a tourist. Worth your time!
  • Simply amazing to see it stand there without any support.A great play of physics.
  • Balancing rock. Good place
