  • It's a super old temple. Even after so many years it is well maintained. There is a natural stream of water flowing in the temple. The water is super clear without any impurities and therefore locals satisfy there daily need of water through that source. I myself tasted the water, tasted super pure. It's a quite big place. I would recommend you to visit this temple.
  • Very well maintained ancient structure. Still in very good condition. Very calm n soothing atmosphere. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. But can click pictures in the surrounding area. Historic place. Must visit temple. Holy place.
  • The Panchganga Temple is constructed at the convergence of five rivers Krishna, Venna, Savitri, Koyna and Gayatri. One of the holy places in Mahabaleshwar is the Panchganga Mandir. Water from five different rivers that is the Koyna, Krishna, Venna, Savitri and Gayatri join in this place.  The confluence of five rivers has given the name Panchganga where Panch means five and ganga means river. All the rivers come out of a cow’s mouth which is carved out of stone. Thus the place being called Panchganga Mandir.  This famous mandir was built by Raja Singhandeo. He was the king of the Yadav of Devgiri in the 13th century. In the 16th century the temple was improved by the Maratha Emperor Shivaji.
  • Ancient temple, source of five rivers, namely Krishna, Koyana, venna, savitry and gaytri, hotels are available for stay and food. Temple Is just 100 mtrs from ancient famous Mahabaleshwar temple. You may test the water which is energetic and taste.
