(260+ reviews on the web)
Waterfall Nature / Park
At Lingmala Waterfall, spend time enjoying yourself amid well-preserved nature. One of the tallest waterfalls in the area, at 152 m (500 ft), it offers an amazing view, especially during the monsoon season. However, during dry months, you can see only the lake beneath the falls. Take a short hike un the stairs to the top of the hill; you'll be rewarded with views of the amazing landscape, the falls, and the valley beneath you. Most kids can manage the hike, and the whole family should wear sturdy walking shoes, as the path can get slippery because of the rain. Make sure you bring your camera to take some amazing photos. Using our international travel planner, Mahabaleshwar attractions like Lingmala Waterfall can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • To reach its easy to walk down through steps for 1km is very easy. But climbing back to parking site is big challage. Beautiful view. Never enter in water here It's dangerous.
  • Amazing waterfall. Visit this place in and around monsoon for the best views. This waterfall also known as Dhabdhaba(loud noise when water falls down) You need to walk around 1km to reach this point from the main entrance.
  • We played in the small waterfalls and took wonderful photographs. The guide was very helpful. One needs to walk inside to see the bigger falls. The guide took to a place where we can take nice photographs of the magnificent waterfalls! It has entry fees of Rs. 20/- per person but the trail to the fall is very good and maintained. It is open till 5-6pm in evening.
  • Try to visit the place before January, as the waterfall gets very scarse after that. There are two waterfalls, and both of them are amazing. Highly recommended.
  • Amazing place must visit. Easy parking. 10 Rs per person fee. Offer access via nicely consturcted path. Not suitable for kids pram Need to carry your kids. Does not offer water or food please carry your bottle. Offers to view two water falls. I would suggest go for nearest one as it has less walk. Steep stairs may not suit old aged.
