Lingmala Waterfall, Mahabaleshwar

(4.3/5 based on 260 reviews on the web)
At Lingmala Waterfall, spend time enjoying yourself amid well-preserved nature. One of the tallest waterfalls in the area, at 152 m (500 ft), it offers an amazing view, especially during the monsoon season. However, during dry months, you can see only the lake beneath the falls. Take a short hike un the stairs to the top of the hill; you'll be rewarded with views of the amazing landscape, the falls, and the valley beneath you. Most kids can manage the hike, and the whole family should wear sturdy walking shoes, as the path can get slippery because of the rain. Make sure you bring your camera to take some amazing photos. Using our international travel planner, Mahabaleshwar attractions like Lingmala Waterfall can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • The road condition could be much bettter. It was a really bumpy ride. There are a lot of monkeys and dogs roaming around also very less tourist and a lot of walking up and down the stairs

  • We played in the small waterfalls and took wonderful photographs. The guide was very helpful. One needs to walk inside to see the bigger falls. The guide took to a place where we can take nice photographs of the magnificent waterfalls! It has entry fees of Rs. 20/- per person but the trail to the fall is very good and maintained. It is open till 5-6pm in evening.
  • Specially there are two waterfalls. When u walk towards the waterfall from the road by stairs so u will get a crossing where, will be two ways u can go with right one or left one.... Right one leads towards the waterfall which flow down around the height of 80 miter but u can't bath there Nd u will have to walk around 2 km. If u r fond of clicking pictures so u can go otherwise I will not give suggestion for elder to go there. .. The second one is very nice for everyone Nd for that you ha e to take left...
  • The Lingamala Waterfall is a glittering waterfall. The water drops into the Venna valley of Mahabaleshwar. The Lingamala Waterfall is a fantastic sight to watch. The water falling down looks like thin silver streaks. It encircles with rainbow colors. The tourists and the visitors admire the Lingamala waterfall’s beauty. The best season for visiting the falls is the rainy season. The water level during the monsoon rises and slides down. The water which launches from a height of 600 feet from the drop-off extends the most charming visions.
  • Gr8 place. For the small waterfall u hv to walk a bit but for the real thing u hav to walk 500 mtrs. It was a lonely place in october so i returned frm halfway. Otherwise it shouldnt b missed
