  • Nice place, big bull, well maintained,Don't miss.near to Veerabadra swamy temple & Andhra pradesh tourism hotel.open through out the day.  more »
  • Visit this after seeing the temple - the fact that the bull is facing the Siva Linga is tough to realise unless you read the board on the entrance. The lotus pond had a few flowers when we were there.  more »

  • A huge monolithic rock sculpture of Nandi. The sculpture is one amazing art work because inspite of the huge size, it maintains the key ratios of height, width and depth. I was awestruck by the beauty of the Nandi. It's definitely a must see place. You can also visit the Lepakshi temple which is about 100 MTs away.
  • One of the largest Nandi statues in India. Sculpted out of a monolithic rock, the symmetry and attention to details are mesmerizing. Well maintained by the Archaeological survey of India.
  • This beautiful enormous stone Nandi bull statue has exquisite detailed carvings. The gardened area around it is nicely kept. We rode our motorcycles up from Bangalore and arrived in a couple of hours. The road off the main highway is very pleasant. We had a very simple but delicious luncheon next door at the tourist facility, the only place to eat in town. About 5 minutes' walk away is the Lepakshi Temple, which is absolutely magnificent.
  • Beautiful clean place. Has biggest nandi. A good place to visit from Bangalore
  • It's a place where you can spend some time and click few pics... Nandi statue is carved from only one stone and the detail orientation at that time will astonish you.
