  • Very Nice place to visit.. !! Can spend half a day easily..could be very hot!! Overall takes a day from Bangalore to visit and come back!! Place called Hindupur has some good soda and varieties of chats to offer in the evening..this is 15 Km from Lepakshi.. u may want to visit this , if u r a foodie..
  • Lovely place for a day trip from Bangalore. The place is not overly crowded too. It has enough parking space and charges 20rs for parking. The temple itself will take about 2 hours. Then you can spend some time at the Nandi statue and the park nearby. The Nandi statue is unique. There is a aptdc hotel next to it.
  • mam made nandi found while coming from the bengaluru-hyderbad highway
  • Excellent sculptures. Accessible from bangalore through the bangalore hyderabad highway. You can also drive through chikaballapur visiting ghati subramanya on the way
  • A short drive from bangalore(approx 115 km) on the BLR-HYD highway. An early morning visit or post lunch visit should give enough time to see around in max 3 hours. Major attractions are the nandi and Veerabhadra temple, which is like time travel into the past. Very good for seeing old architecture carved on stone. The place has an APTDC restaurant for taking a break.
