  • Sitting atop a Summit makes a fine show and is visible from every part of Leh. It's basically a whole with the Tsemo Fort which is above him. To see a large Buddha statue (no pictures), but must be a monk to open the door. Loved the view of the whole valley. You can get there by car or walking down the steep path that starts from the Royal Palace.

  • The Ladakh capital city of Leh lies near the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir, on the crossroads of the historic “Silk Route” from Sinkiang to West Asia and to the plains of India. The humbling monasteries of Shey, Hemis, Alchi, Thikse and Lamayuru will nurture your spiritual needs, and the landscape of Leh provides for a number of adventure activities including mountaineering, white-water rafting and trekking along the Markha Valley.
  • What is that? That was my first feeling then after 5 or 6 days later. I looks charming but I just saw out side of building. I remain this place to see later.
  • Was disappointed by the maintenance at this place. The monument must be restored to its original state. But the monument itself is a wonder on its own. Can't imagine how this was built so many years ago with so much thought put into it. You get a bird's eye view of the entire Leh city.
  • If your are visiting Leh, one does not miss Leh Palace. From the city center it takes about 20-30 mins walk up the hill if you want you can drive all the way up to. From the top of the Leh palace you can see the whole of Leh town. Its a great view. The palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century and currently most of its rooms are been under renovations. It has 9 level all together.
  • Not great. But historical. An old palce Have to take a entrance ticket to enter the palce
