(1,100+ reviews on the web)
Specialty Museum Museum
Hall of Fame commemorates the Indian Army soldiers who lost their lives in the India-Pakistan wars. On the ground floor you can gather information about the troops and learn details about their fates, as well as purchase souvenirs. On your way up to the first floor, examine the exhibited war artifacts, weaponry used during combat, and important documents. The museum's displays can help you imagine what high-altitude battles at -50 C (-58 F) looked like; you can also watch a 30-minute film about the 1999 Kargil War. Take a look at our Leh trip itinerary builder to schedule your visit to Hall of Fame and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • A very well maintained army museum. It honors it's men and tells us about the struggles our soldiers face in Siachin. It also has a great description of the various missions of the army in securing our border. Also has a cute gift shop
  • It's awesome place near airport. One should take sufficient time inside hall of fame. You will know many tremendous stories of Indian army. They charge 50 rs for mobile camera but you can take camera Bcz they don't check it.
  • When in Leh, visit this place to know more about the Indian Army's struggle to recapture the various strategic strongholds during the Kargil War. Resplendent with personal stories of our martyrs. Also on display are various arms of the Pakistani and Chinese armies captured during the wars.
  • Feel proud for the Indian Soldiers. Detailed information on Leh ladakh . Also a good setup for kids to practice physical activities
