From Leh to the West runs on a scooter, and boils down to the small village of NIMA village nearby the bus go. Earth remains of brick houses and the ruins, unique atmosphere. This monastery remains the building style of the original ruins located in the back of the bus go. Towards monastery from the highway and walk into a maze of ruins walls boils down to the monastery. There was no tourists. In fact, here also vehicle road on the other side. I'm having to carry building, merchandise, such as monasteries, mostly near the route.

The one storey high old clay image of Buddha Maitreya is a world class of its own. Mesmerised by the art and artists of that era.  more »

This monastery looks great as you drive down towards it on NH1. It's worth stopping to get some pics from the side of the road. Once you get closer the view is even better. Well worth the effort to visit.
