Where to stay in Lansdowne

Though few in number, the accommodations of Lansdowne represent a decent range of options. Choose from refined resorts in remote locations, atmospheric hotels set in pre-independence buildings, and backpacker-friendly guesthouses, all providing a warm welcome. Take a look along the regional road that runs north-south for a few more lodgings in secluded, privileged positions, with views overlooking the valleys and snow-capped Himalayas.

  • It's located on the top of a small hill, a few hundred meters away from the Dalton point. It's quite easy to miss unless you are looking for it since there are not many boards pointing to it and you have to climb around 60 stairs to reach it. The temple in itself is quite small but the atmosphere around it is nice. Will recommend.
