3.6/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web
Located just 25km away from Khavda, Kala Dungar it stands at 462m making it the highest peak of Kutch. Here provides panoramic views of the Great Rann where land and sky becomes indistinguishable where the only thing that breaks that façade is the army camp in the distance. On top of this hill is also home to the 400 year old temple of Dattatreya which embodies three gods in one body which are Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. There are various options on how to get there between hiring a jeep, taking public transport or hike the whole way. Bringing water and food is highly recommended.
