  • Aruvikkuzhi waterfall a popular tourist destination, but not so excited because we can see from far can do any activity under fall. can see and click pics.
  • If you are tourist and travelling on that route then you may find better falls. We didn't find it pleasing at all. People were bathing in same without any maintenance. Nothing to do as well.

The water cascades down the mountains from a height of 100 feet. Tourists find this place an ideal picnic spot during their visit to Kottayam. One can experience the beautiful view of sunset and spend their leisure time in the lap of nature. The waterfall is in its full flow during rainy season only. Some of the nearby attractions to Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls are Bay Island Driftwood Museum, Kumarakom beach, Vembanad Lake and Vagamon Lake. One can easily reach Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls by all modes of transportation. The nearest airport to this place is Cochin International airport, 103 km away and Kottayam junction is the nearest train station to Kumarakom. Kottayam is passed by both National highway and state highway connected to other cities of Kerala. The place is open on all the days of the week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and the visit duration is 1-2 hours.
  • Firstly you have to know about the place, otherwise you'll miss out. The water is not that clean and have to be cautious as there are broken glasses everywhere. The good thing is that, you can have some fun with your friends, can swim a little. We went in the month of October which is why there may not be much water.
  • Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls are best when sunny and the chattering sound of the water, when it touches craggy rocks is a treat for both soul and eyes. Many tourists interest for arranges a special vacation holidays in this famous tourist destination in Kerala. I really like this tourist place in Kerala.
  • The waterfall is awesome . I spend time here in August 2016. As it was rainy season with lowest rainfall record . But it gives an awesome view. I guess it will be visual treat in heavy rainfall. Worth visiting
