  • Beautiful but now there is nothing much in the palace. In the year Durga Puja, Jagadhutri Puja and Barodol fair are good. (সুন্দর কিন্তু এখন আর তেমন কিছুই নেই রাজবাড়ীতে । বছরে দুর্গা পূজা , জগদ্ধাত্রী পূজা আর বারোদোলের মেলা ভালো হয় । )
  • One of the most prominent places of Krishnagar. Maintenance is average. History is getting handicapped. Authority needs to preserve this royal monument more professionally.
  • A grand place! Culturally and historically rich. The main palace ain't open for public view (except 3-4 days a year, during festivities) but, the temple there, is open everyday for commoners/tourists to go and check out. Overall, the place was serene and gorgeous.
  • A very historical place. But it should be maintained properly and professionally. Tourists should be allowed inside the palace with proper guide maps. It's very unfortunate that nothing is followed there.
  • Being a private property it is not accessible pan year, but it is open for about a month in the spring when a fair close to the heart of locals takes place. The best time to visit is in winter, when the weather is soothing and you can play on the open ground outside. I was not allowed to enter since the property was not open to tourists, but managed to click the pictures of the erstwhile dancing floor or natmandir.
