Where to stay in Kottayam

Kottayam offers an eclectic mix of large resorts, tacky modern hotels, waterside villas, and small guesthouses catering to a diverse range of visitors. Smaller, more intimate guesthouses tend to cluster around the center of the city, while larger resorts can be found on the outskirts or near the area's many waterways. Many visitors choose to stay about 10 km (6.2 mi) to the west of the city proper, on the scenic shores of Lake Vembanad.

  • Kudos to Sunny. We were amazed by his knowledge and passion and what a dream he has created. A must see for anybody who loves music and history. The collections of Gramophones and discs are just unbelievable. Would suggest folks who want to visit to fix up a time with Sunny before reaching the place as what is put for display is his personal collection with care and not a commercial venture. A big thanks to sunny for accommodating us at the last minute.
  • A museum of gramophones. A treat to lovers of music, history & arts. Being a no-profit private museum, need to contact owners and fix visit.
