  • Really loved this temple, glad that I got to visit this one. The temple is big enough and inside it there were huge Bulls, it was fascinating to see them. There many people visiting seemingly it's a devine place. The men were asked to take their shirts/t-shirts off, I took off too and everyone got a clear view of my fat belly. As we went inside along with the line, entrance was great, nice carving work on rock, metal work etc. The core interior nice and felt pleasant. The exterior also had carvings on rocks with idols.
  • The Mookambika Temple, Kollur, Udupi District in Karnataka is dedicated to goddess Parvathi. The temple situated on the banks of holi river Souparnika is around 135km from Mangalore, well connected to Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. Navarathri festival is famous here. Children were brought here for their 'choroonu' (annaprasan) and Vidhyarambham on any day throughout the year. The 'kashayam' served as prasadam after the night pooja is made of ginger, pepper, cardamom, lavang and Jaggery. Free lunch and dinner are provided to the visiting devotees at the temple premises. A lot of accommodation facilities are available by temple trust and others. Nearest railway station is Baindoor. From Mangalore enough buses are available from Railway Station and Bus station.
  • It is one of the most sacred temples in karnataka , mostly visited by keralites but it is believed as one of the most powerful hindu goddess
  • The Kollur Mookambika Temple is a most famous Hindu temple dedicated to Mookambika Devi Located in karnataka state. It is an ancient temple stimated to be at least 1200 years old . It is one of most popular pilgrimage in south India . There are large no of pilgrims visiting here eavery day.
  • A must visit in a lifetime to see the Goddess. The Temple is surrounded by greenery and facilities for a night stay in the place(Hotels) are good. Maintenance of temple and cleanliness by temple authority is too good. Bad impression resides with the people who provides bad quality of food (Hotels near by temple.)
