  • This falls earns it name due the milky water that falls from a distance. Since this one is located in the Kerala State, one could expect more disciplined experience. One will have to stop their private transport up till a point and essentially have to take Government run transport to and back to the falls. There are separate bathing places for men and women. Not suitable for small kids as one will have to navigate rocky terrain to reach up to the falls. Can be risky if not careful. Nice vantage point for photo snap available. Overall fine experience.
  • We were there on a summer. So there was not plenty of water. It was a boon actually, we could bath in the falls. During monsoon the fall is really huge, so that no is allowed to bath in it.
  • A wonderful falls to visit . The Kerala forest department has taken all measures to make it comfortable . They need a great applause . We have to park our vehicle at the check post for a nominal fee and they take us in by special buses that ply every half hour . The falls has changing facilities for women and guards are there for protection . Beware the 🐒 s ! They are very rude and unruly and try to snatch your belongings . Please don't take any food there and DONT FEED THE 🐒
  • Place is totally covered by forest and hills. So natural and green. We cannot shower in big falls. But we have a place to get bath in small rock falls. Monkeys disturbance is more. Be careful with ur things especially foods. Transportation from entrance to falls is bit difficulty. Since private vehicles are not allowed inside. They are providing transport but it was so crowded. Aged peoples feels difficult to travel. But there is no compromise for the entertainment. Place to rock with friends
  • Nice beautiful place, you have to take pass tickets to enter that place, large number of visitors from outside Kerala, lot of trees, forest reserved area and you can see creak flowing here and there. But the place is really crowded & road to the waterfall has heavy jam. Hard to find a place to park if you in a car if you go up towards the waterfall. Some people think that this place has some kind of medicinal value but i don't think so. Police everywhere near the waterfall area with lathi, may be for protecting women or pervert men from going near women in the creak or for catching people who smoke or drink alcohol. You may find hard to go under the waterfall because that place will be crowded...There will be people everywhere, in the creak, under the waterfall.. It's like they never seen water before. Hehe
