  • Formerly it was known as Ochterlony Monument. Very good monument. Nice to see and enjoy. One can get to the top with valid permission from the authority. From the top Kolkata looks amazing and beautiful. The surroundings of the monument need to be kept clean.
  • A monument near Esplanade Bus stand. It is so beautiful that it can easily attract eye of anyone. At night its beauty reach to another level.
  • A historical monument from the Raj era rededicated in 1969 to the martyers who laid down their lives for India's independence. An all-time favourite tourist attraction and a popular hangout. Also a place for political gatherings.
  • A historical monument, feel lucky to have got an opportunity to climb up to the top. You will like to enjoy a bird's eye view or sky line of City of Joy - Kolkata.....Will love to climb up again this time to view the city in glittering lights.
  • The lighting at night is very nice.. and it has historical value too.
