Create an itinerary including Mother House
Mother House is the site of Mother Teresa's tomb and contains a small museum dedicated to the founder of the Missionaries of Charity. The simple white tomb is always covered with flowers and heartwarming messages written in yellow petals. See sandals and saris the humanitarian wore on her many missions, and visit the room in which she slept on a camp bed. Take a picture under the statue of Mother Teresa, holding a rosary in one hand and blessing the visitors with the other. • It's a memorial house. Mother Teresa's tomb is here with her belongings here to display visitors. Friendly sisters for welcoming any visitors. Calm and holy place. It feels so blessed and calm when you visit this place. It is so near to the main road. Overall the place is highly recommended for everyone.
  • I visited on Good Friday ,15th April 2022. Morning. A bit rush since it is a special day. Many smiling faces (with resembles to St. Mother Teresa face) are welcoming us. Very calm and quiet place to pray and you will definitely find peace of mind. It is near to the main road. Walkable distance. Parking my be an issue during peak hours at road side. All *Thursdays* are holidays. Check the timings they have a break time during noon. Usually open during 8AM–12 noon 3AM–6PM
  • A very soulful place with a very pure and peaceful feel. Sisters are very generous to guide you throughout the place. Only ground floor is accessible to public. One room has mother's tomb and the second one has exhibits of mother's belongings and articles about her life and contribution in enhancing other's life.
  • The Mother House is the headquarters and residential quarters for the Missionaries of Charity. It was started by Mother Teresa. It is the final resting place for Mother Teresa’s mortal remains and you can visit her tomb here. For all contributions realated all Mother Teresa charitable works can be done here. If you are in Kolkata it should be one of the places to visit in case you appreciate her contributions to the society.
  • The Mother House... The place where Mother Theresa lived and lives.. The sisters in the House are very polite and friendly... Invites us with a pretty smile. They receive us very friendly
