  • Despite the collection being very unique and distinct, The management should provide basic air conditioning for such a big museum space. But the collection is one of the best there is!
  • Some parts of the museum are better than others. We don't regret our visit however it seems that there is not paid enough attention to it.
  • I love visiting museums but the Indian Museum of Kolkata is a different. it has a charm, it has spark. this Museum is India's biggest and oldest museum. The entry fee is only 20 rupees. This Museum is so big that it will take to your whole day. It has 1 floor and the spread over a long area. it has many departments like the coins of India, the history of India, animals of India, nature of India and much more it also has a history from other civilisations like Africa. It has Egyptian mummy also it has stones from all over the world this is amazing place to visit for a history lover.
  • A pretty good museum with a large collection of exhibits. Well maintained and well kept. A must visit for sure. Make sure you have time in your hands to be able to see most if not all the exhibits.
  • Related to historic place. The person who loved ancient items and things must go here... Many types of fossils and real mummies from Egypt are in the museum. Good.
  • Just an awesome jawdropping place for art lovers along with 6 different sections including anthropology. .. animal dummies and the most exciting egyptian mummy... a spark in the cities heart ...
  • Biggest and greatest museum I've ever seen, the vast majority of collection will stun you, and the Indian archaeological department is making it even better. You will found geology, coin history, botany, zoology, human history, famous clothes history, superb ivory art work and much more. But make sure that you have the sufficient time before visiting here.
