  • These pictures are taken a while back. Always loved it there. There's a myth related to this temple that goddess kali used to come to life from her idol to talk to her devotees long long back. And this lore moved me to my core. Since then, I love visiting every once in a while.
  • Taking photo inside the temple premises is prohibited. Good systems are available to the devotees for putting their mobile phones, shoes and other accessories into lockers against very nominal amount. Shoes can also be kept at prasad counters at the shopping block. Overall experience has always been great.

  • Temple is place where Peace prevails. I happened to visit at temple at 0545 hrs in morning when temple was about to open. You should must visit at early hours if you want to have a divine experience. Well Connected by Road and Dakshinewar Station is also near. I would suggest to go by Road.Parking facility is available. Security is well maintained. If you are having a traditional frame of mind.. Take dip in river towards bridge in the vicinity of temple and then experience the solitude inside the premises of temple. After offering pooja you can have a light breakfast if you please. Your experience will be a lifetime and divine and for sure..Must Visit..πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ
