  • This is located 9km from Howrah. This temple is situated near the banks of River Ganga. Cellphone and cameras are not allowed inside the temple premises. One needs to deposit it's luggage and other belongings at the counter. The atmosphere of the temple is very calm and quiet. It's very clean. I would recommend you to visit here in the evening because the Temple's atmosphere is calm and quiet during this time
  • i will suggest to go by road, parking facility is available. i will also suggest to visit at winter, so it won't be a problem to stay under sun all day. this place is very clean, organized. the vendors here and the priests are good too. no one is forced to pay money here. the entire area is being watched by special force. the Ghat behind the temple is clean to, and people can bath here. and there's this charming view from this Ghat. a great place to visit with friends and family.
  • Excluding the crowd the environment is full of spiritual greatness. This place is witness of revolutionary moment in India. The revolutionary personality is raised here. When I take breathe and try to feel the smell of great spirituality. One outfit come into my mind , outfit with 'Gerua'. Temple closed after 12pm and open 3 pm again
  • Iconic place. Beautiful temple architecture. Must feel in a lifetime kind of ambience. The enigma of spirituality in present in the air. Ghat leading to river Ganga is also there. Definite need for improvement in cleanliness is there. But hardly matters when you are immersed in Kali ma blessings. Exceptionally got in summers. No camera, cell phone or bags are allowed inside the temple. Walking barefoot is essential. At times may be too crowded.
  • Very nice and pious place. A must visit place for Hindus. Usually doesn't remain crowded except on special days. Can take your own time trolling the compound. No harassment of pandas here unlike Kalighat temple. Temple closes at 12:30 or 1 pm and reopens at 3:30 or 4 pm as told by the locals. So make sure you are here not in between these hours. Photography not allowed inside. Have to deposit bags, cameras and mobiles before entering the temple.
