  • Lot of improvement done by Mandir trustee. For that's resin ferry ghat distances longer from mandir. Last months I am visited this place with family, for road construction exit way now less then one and half k.m ( actual distance around 200 meter) from mandir to bus stand. Conjugated road. Very painful like punishment for kid and walker. Atmosphere lovely.
  • very good environment in the temple and the security system is also very good.there is no touts(pandas) in the temple territory unlike other famous hindu temples which is mostly attractable to you.only dala businessmen may try to hesitate you,so be careful always.but otherwise it's a very beautiful experience you will gain ,if you will go here dosn't miss to visit Belur can be gone from here by a ferry service nearby to the temple.another historical place which is a brainchild of swamiji
  • Beautiful temple made by Sri Ramkrishna. Usually crowded on occasion of new moon and Kali puja. Has a bathing ghat. Watch out for the monkeys.
  • Meko v bula lo maa......I'm so lonely without u maa.......
  • Another place of worship of one of the Hindu Goddesses! Kaali or Bhabatarini Maa ( Mother ) is worshipped here. The place is usually full with people on Saturday and Sunday. The place is part of Heritage of Kolkata, then Calcutta and Sri Ramkrishna was a disciple of Kaali Maa here.
