  • It is incorrectly stated that the M. P. Birla Planetarium is permanently closed. This is an absolutely false statement. The Planetarium is going through an exhaustive phase of renovation. The new projectors being installed will make it one of the best in the world ! The renovation work is going on in full swing. The Planetarium will open to the public within another six months.
  • I loveit because we can know everything about planate Rishabha Nandy a child
  • It is a iconic place for our proudest City KOLKATA. But old technology, audience facilities limited. Air conditioning quality very poor. Sound quality also not good. Needed fully modification.
  • Visiting this place can change the perspective of one's view. Towards self, towards others, towards Nature. The free evening course (which give literacy to real science) can do this all, just imagine the effect of education with the subject. And I must thank Dr. Debiprosad Duari, the Real teacher and leader behind all these. My life has been changed, not economically, but philosophically.
  • Definitely a very nice planetarium considering its size however the presenter was really poor and kept on yelling at everyone during the show. I can understand the frustration she had with people being on their phones and disrupting the darkness, however I thought that her yelling did more to pull me out of the show than the light of the phones.
