Kohima War Cemetery, Kohima
Categories: Cemeteries, Tourist Spots
See the final resting place of the honorable soldiers who died during the Second World War on site at Kohima War Cemetery. Almost 2,500 graves set in a garden-like area with soft grass and rose beds keep the memory of the casualties, both the citizens of Commonwealth and Sikh and Hindu people. There are large pillars carrying bronze plates with the names of all the people buried. From the site you can see the panorama of Kohima.
