By far the greatest number of accommodations in the region of Kodagu lies in the town of Madikeri. Here, a good number of hotels large and small, luxury and basic, cluster around the town center and its suburbs. If planning on getting out to see the region regularly, consider staying in one of the hotels along the main regional roads. Some of the more remote areas feature luxury retreats, with a wealth of amenities including spas and swimming pools.

  • Picturesque location near kakkabe. Temple is renovated with carvings depicting the daily lives of kodavas and their culture. Devotees are served lunch everyday.  more »

  • I must say the priest over here is brand ambassador of Coorg. Very humble, down to earth. This temple is something devine special and you will remember for long. I visited four years back and today my family is on second visit.
  • Very nice priests, one of the Best temple in Karnataka, am a regular visitor to this temple, My prayer to this god ( Reincarnation of Shiva) yielded good result. Love this place,people from Coorg are very nice.

  • The temple is set in a beautiful environment but not a place fir tourists particularly tourist in western outfits .The priest of temple won't allow you inside the main temple unless you are wearing Hindu traditional outfit.
