Known for its wares, especially for spices and handicrafts, the district offers a wide array of shops, restaurants, and some cultural sites. In between stores, check out the local synangogues, temples, and palaces. If you're feeling adventurous, buy some fish fresh from the nearby fishing boats and have one of the restaurants cook it up for you. Be aware that many shops raise their prices in comparison to other districts in the city. I enjoyed with my family. A lot of curios and collectibles are available here. The Mattancherry palace is also here which u should never miss.
