Categories: Art Galleries, Museums, Shopping
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Originally a Dutch home, Kashi Art Gallery started its reign as Kochi's contemporary art hub in 1977. Local artists and art-lovers gather here to appreciate popular art exhibitions from masters like NN Rimzon, Sosa Joseph, Zakkir Hussein, Valsan Koorma Kolleri, and Anant Joshi. The onsite cafe allows you to reflect on the exhibitions over a cup of coffee while chatting with friends. Keep your eyes peeled for important works around the cafe, too, including some by Christina Mamakos, K S Radhakrishnan, and Pradeep Naik. A visit to Kashi Art Gallery represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Kochi (Cochin) vacation generator to plot your vacation.

  • Good coffee and great cakes, service good and art gallery interesting Easy to find in the centre of town
  • A great cafe in Fort Kochi. Lovely ambiance and great food. Can stay there the whole day. Must visit for Fort Kochi. Hats off to the owner and chef. Truly a great spot and superb efforts put into this place.
  • Went to breakfast on my first day in Fort Kochi had the farmers omlet and good coffe the building is fab as is the art. The food was great huge,I didn't need to eat again that day
  • Definitely over hyped. The famed cold coffee was too watery, the chocolate cake a tad on the sweet side. The only saving grace was the grilled tomato and cheese sandwich, well made, cheese melted nicely and tomatoes not overdone. But felt hardly a mouthful for the price. Good ambience but definitely can improve.
  • Ambience is excellent, always excite me with new art forms exibited in the art gallery. Food i am not very found of but chocolate cake is a must try out.
  • An oasis in the middle of Fort Kochi. Must visit. Fresh food, amazing coffee. We almost missed our flight because we absolutely wanted one last breakfast at Art Cafe.
